Cory Charitable Foundation helps keep surf lifesavers afloat

The Cory Charitable Foundation has supported SLSQ and various clubs throughout Queensland for more than a decade.

This year the Cory Charitable Foundation has provided SLSQ with 65 personal flotation devices (PFDs) and 40 helmets to assist our volunteers during emergency service call outs. It is mandatory to wear a PFD and helmet whilst on a jet ski and a PFD in an IRB.

The total amount of funding was $9,750 and the continual support from the Cory Foundation is appreciated.

The Cory Charitable Foundation supports organisations that care for our community. Proudly established in 1993, the Foundation contributes to the growth and well-being of a number of Queensland-based charities and institutes. Notable fields to benefit from The Cory Charitable Foundation include medical research, social welfare and emergency relief organisations.
