Stradbroke Island will come alive this weekend when the fourth and final round of SLSQ’s high-octane Ocean Roar IRB series hits Point Lookout.
More than 200 competitors will line up to contest the event, which also represents the final competitive hit-out for crews before the Queensland IRB Championships in Townsville later this month.
The competition works on a cumulative point-based system with the winning team awarded the Premiership Title at the end of the series.
The series has developed into a three-way battle for outright honours with Kurrawa, North Burleigh and Kawana Waters Surf Life Saving Clubs all sharing the spoils in the first three rounds of competition.
The fourth and final round will be held at Point Lookout across two days from June 8-9.
