The 2015 Queensland Cyclones State IRB team has been announced, with 18 lifesavers (including two reserves) making the squad.
The team consists of 18 members from both the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. North Burleigh ha the highest representation with 11 lifesavers selected, followed by Kawana Waters and Dicky Beach with three competitors each and Alexandra Headlands with one.
Adam Barbour will coach the team with Bronwyn Champness appointed the team manager. Jeff Hutchison has been named assistant team manager and Scott Wheeler the patient coordinator.
The team will compete at the 2015 Interstate Championships at Mooloolaba.
Meanwhile the 2015 Queensland Development IRB team was also named this week, with a further 18 lifesavers selected.
Point Lookout and Kawana Waters have the highest representation with five members each, while Kirra, Bribie Island, Dicky Beach and North Burleigh all had two competitors selected.
The development team will be coached by Robert Shillam, with Natasha Dennis appointed team manager.
