Weekend Beach Conditions

Good news ahead of your weekend, with water temperature around 22 degrees, it will be pleasant for a swim in the ocean.

A low-pressure system off the NSW coast may cause increased swell on southern Queensland beaches over the weekend, it is expected to peak on Saturday afternoon before easing on Sunday.

There will be some unstable conditions on open beaches due to the incoming tide in the morning. Flash rips and large surges of water are likely on Saturday and Sunday.
